Paper a Pastime?

Time has been happily filled with family, work and other commitments of life and my joy of making paper and making journals will just have to take a back seat again this year it seems, with the need to upskill at uni for a year long part-time course to gain work qualifications.  Life just gets busier and busier and the things we enjoy seem to get less and less.  A sad reality of our lives changing from times of pleasurable pastimes to pastimes of pleasurable times!  I have much to finish that I have started in all my creative pursuits and I know I will ... time permitting (irony intended)!   I have found a very quick fix for my creative outcomes is eco dyeing silk while doing the evening dishes, I can usually manage a few during the busy week. At the moment I am making samples and journalling my finds.  Here is a sample of one that gave a range of interesting colours from the same plant.  Not the best photo as the colours are much brighter in reality.  Happy creating, in whatever way you can to keep your creative soul content.  Cheers!
